Contents: Introduction to Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) and DMT-ER^® – The model of the DMT-ER^® session – Setting and Process in DMT

Methodology: Practical DMT sessions – Theoretical interactive classes – Group Work and Exercise – Self Assessment of learning

Teachers: Vincenzo Bellia, Director of the Dmt-ER^® Training School in Rome, CLMA (Certified Laban Movement Analyst), Psychiatrist, teacher of Group Analysis, author of 6 DMT books –

Barbara Dragoni, Educational Coordinator of the Dmt-ER^® Training School, master’s in clinical psychology, CLMA (Certified Laban Movement Analyst), teacher of dance

Participants: 12-24 professionals/students in clinical, social, psychological, educational, artistic fields. Priority to students / applicants of the Dmt-ER^® professional training.

Timetable: 40 hours of practical session, theory classes and group work. 8 hours a day, every day from 10 am to 2 pm and from 3 to 7 pm

Open session: 4 hours of DMT practical experience, Wednesday 8 January from 10 am to 2 pm, including 8 participants more, over the 24 registered for the whole Workshop

Notes: Basic English required – No previous specific study required – Practical sessions at barefoot – No entrance allowed after the start of each unit (late admission only during breaks) – Participants required to consent to the video-photographic shooting of the works

Limits: People attending only this workshop can improve their personal experience and their basic professional role, whereas a technical learning of DMT techniques requires a professional qualification in DMT through the complete 3-years training program
