Workshop Overview:
This 2-day workshop offers a deep dive into the therapeutic application of sand tray therapy for Encourage storytelling, self-expression, and emotional healing in minors and conservative patients, and facilitate non-verbal expression. Participants will explore how sand tray therapy can help clients express and integrate difficult emotions through symbolic play. This workshop is open to art therapists, psychotherapists, teachers, social workers, and mental health professionals who work with individuals dealing with separation, anger, depression, and emotional challenges.

* Duration: 2 days, 8 hours each day

*From 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
* Location: Rakhawy Institute for training and research
Materials Needed:
* Sand trays for demonstrations
* Standard sand tray kit will be provided by the conductor for own practice upon request.

* Learn how to use sand tray therapy as a tool for recovery and emotional expression.
* Understand the symbolic and metaphorical power of sand tray work in reflecting a client’s inner world.
* Deep understanding of attachment theory and its roots.
* Apply sand tray techniques to individual and group therapeutic settings, with a focus on grounding and integrating emotions.
* Learn how to facilitate sand tray sessions for clients across various settings, including schools, therapy centres, and hospitals.

This workshop is designed for art therapists, psychotherapists, social workers, teachers, and other professionals who work with trauma, emotional healing, and mental health.
